    Cookie Policy

Which cookies we place, why, and how to change your choice.

    Last updated 23 August 2026

The Dutch version of this text is legally binding.

This cookie policy applies to the website www.operiumsolutions.nl and supplements our privacy policy.

    1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. They help us make the website work properly and, where you allow it, measure how the website is used.

Cookies can be placed by our own website (first-party) or by external services (third-party). Besides cookies, we use localStorage in the same way: wherever this policy says "cookies", that is included.

    • Session cookies — stored temporarily; they disappear when you close the browser
    • Persistent cookies — remain stored until an expiry date or until you delete them yourself

    2. Our consent setup

Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, consent is required for placing or reading cookies, unless they are strictly necessary for the service you requested. That is why our website shows a cookie banner on your first visit, where you choose per category what you agree to. Refusing is just as easy as accepting.

    Necessary — always on

Needed to make the site work: remembering your cookie choice, the right display on mobile or desktop, and the security of the contact form. This category is always on and cannot be switched off; no consent is required for it.

    Analytics

Google Analytics 4. Shows us which pages are read and where visitors drop off, so we can improve the site. This script is only loaded after you have given consent for it, and IP addresses are stored in truncated form.

    Marketing

Advertising and tracking pixels, to measure which campaigns bring in visitors. To be confirmed by Operium: there is currently no marketing pixel on the site. This category is already in place in the consent banner in case that changes; as long as nothing is placed, consent for it has no effect.

    3. Which cookies do we use?

The overview below shows the cookies that actually occur on our website.

The Analytics cookies are only placed after you have given consent for the Analytics category; without that consent the script does not load and nothing happens.

    Calendly

The contact page contains Calendly's appointment calendar. It loads immediately when you open that page; Calendly may place its own cookies in the process. Calendly no longer shows its own cookie notice there — you can read that information here, in this policy. Calendly's cookie and privacy terms apply to those cookies. If you do not want this, do not visit the contact page and use email or phone instead — both are also in the footer of every page.

    Contact form

The contact form does not set any cookies itself. Your message is sent through a server function, without anything being stored on your device for it.

    4. Changing your choice

You can change your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page of this website. There you again choose per category what you agree to; necessary cookies always stay on.

You can also always manage cookies through your browser: switching them off, deleting them, or receiving a notice when new cookies are set. Blocking necessary cookies can affect how the contact form works and whether your cookie choice is remembered.

    6. Changes

Operium may amend this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, the cookies placed or legislation. If the meaning of a category changes significantly, the consent banner will appear again, so that you can make an informed choice once more. You can read how we otherwise process personal data in our privacy policy.
